Jay-Z yelled to the crowd, “Everybody put a cell phone and light it up. Let’s light the sky for Trayvon Martin tonight in here”:
Jay Z and Justin Timberlake grabbed a moment in time from their current show inside New York City’s Yankee Stadium in order to honor the deceased young adult Travyon Martin. The stars were in nyc on the weekend for their most recent stops for the co-headlining Legends of the Summer Tour.
Timberlake adding, “One more time for Trayvon New York!”
Previously Jay-Z & Beyonce having showed their support during a Justice For Trayvon rally yesterday, Jigga, together with Justin Timberlake, chose to dedicate a performance of “Forever Young” for the dead teenager, Friday (July 19), while doing a Legends of the Summer tour stop at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.
Alicia Keys & Timbaland also popped in during JAY Z’s performance of “Empire State of Mind,” and Timbaland hitting up the stage for Timberlake’s “SexyBack.”
